Applying for Licensure

*If you do not hold a license to practice nursing in Canada you must apply to CLPNNL as an Exam Candidate in the member portal.

*If you hold a current license to practice as an LPN in Canada you must apply for a Temporary License in the member portal.

All new applicants to the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL)  MUST sign up for an account here. Do not sign up for a new account if you have ever held a license with CLPNNL, contact our office (709) 579-3843 Ext. 100 to reactivate your existing account.

CLPNNL wishes to remind all applicants you must complete your application yourself. Having someone else submit your application or answer questions on your behalf is considered dishonesty and could jeopardize your eligibility for licensure with the College.

New Graduates

*Applicants who are a recent or upcoming graduate of the PN Program in Newfoundland and Labrador must apply to CLPNNL as an Exam Candidate in the member portal. Information about submission requirements can be found here.
